2014 was an amazing first year for Kathy’s Kernels and the business is continuing to grow beyond any point I had ever imagined—I can’t believe where I started and the success I have had in such a short period of time. Not even a year ago, I was only offering a few flavors, and was working entirely on direct sales. Today, I have over 60 approved flavors and Kathy’s Kernels can be found in more than 15 stores throughout California.
Beginning January 5, 2015 there will be a price increase across my product line—I believe that this increase will ultimately help me continue to create an even higher quality product while still being able to fulfill the increasing demand for Kathy’s Kernels. From the very beginning my mission has been to create the freshest, most innovative, affordable and fun gourmet caramel popcorn that, at the end of the day, puts smiles on peoples faces.
New Pricing Overview
The Good News
You may have noticed the non linear price structure in the new lineup. This means that that when you buy larger bags, you are getting more pop for your buck. For example, for Kathy’s Gourmet flavors, there is now a 20% price break when you order 8oz bags and a 23% break on 12oz bags.
